I need to put the songs on my itunes onto my ipod.. how in the world do i do this?

ok. i checked all the songs i want, and then i press import. and this window pops up and says look in: my documents and then its asking for the file name, whats the file name?

how do you drag the songs to the ipod? i have about 50 songs in my itunes...

ok here is how you put the songs on step by step. Make sure you have your Ipod connected to your computer and iTunes up. Go into FILE...than click IMPORT. Find the songs on your computer that you want ( you will have to repeat this step for everysong). All of your songs should be under the music section on your libary. You should see your that your Ipod is connected because it will show up under your libary as your iPod. Click and hold the song you want to put on your iPod and drag it to the Ipod under your libary (repeat for each song) once you have all the songs that you want on there click the eject button and wait untill your Ipod comes to its main screen before you disconnect. ok if ur songs are already on itunes then all u gotta do is connect ur ipod to the pc and it'll update automatically,secondly if ur rippin songs from a cd onto itunes then when the track names appeear on itunes u select the songs u want and right click on the song youll get an option that says convert to acc or mp3 select either and let it convert ... repeat this with everysong ur importing and when ur all done .. connect ur ipod to the pc and if ur songs dont show on the ipod then go to the music link on the ipod pop up screen that appears when ipod is connected and select automatically update al songs.... there ur all done !! phew hope this helps ...

First dont give out you phone number!!!! Second take the ipod back to the store they are junk. Get yourself a more user friendly mp3 player!

There is a hidden problem with the ipod batteries that you can research on the net.

before you can put songs in your ipod you have to download the itunes software first.you should have gotten with the ipod.after you download it make sure that itunes is open before you plug in your usb.and then go download some songs and drag it to your itunes.and then drag the song to your ipod.let me know if you have any more problems.ill walk you thru it.

as long as you have a connector and a computer go to itunes..... if that doesn't work ask a loyal friend
