My bff who is also my neighbour has a rabbit and i have 2 guinea pigs and her rabbit gets lonely and depressed. So would it be okay if my guinea pigs and her rabbit played together once in a while or would something happen to one of them?

Maybe you could try just one pig out with the bunny in a controlled environment and see what they do. I have had both bunnies and guinea pigs. I think they'll both pretty mellow. I've never heard of one going psycho on the other. But, you never know. So maybe the two of you could take the two out in a room blocked off so they can't get away and just stay with them and watch them closely and see what they do. I really think they'd be fine together, but probably wouldn't just let them both loose together on their own. I actually had a cat, miniature holland lop bunny and a pit bull all live together, happy and healthy.

That should be fine, and it is sometimes a good idea to let them play together. However, they need to be supervised, as rabbits have very powerful hind legs, and can seriously injure guinea pigs if they kick out.

I don't know if that would be such a good idea, while maybe the bunny is nice it has powerful hind legs. Now let's say they are playing around when suddenly the bunny decides to start hopping or get's scared of the guinea pig and back kicks it, that wouldnt be good.

If you want them to play together, make sure they have a huge amount of space to play. At the zoo in my city, they keep rabbits and guinea pigs together in a huge enviroment, so they don't get in each other's way. Sometimes, they don't even notice each other and sometimes one's going to annoy the other. Take that as a warning/precaution.

yes, as long as you keep a eye on them as rabbits can kill guinea pigs if they wanted to so i would watch them to see how well they get on. rabbits can also squash guinea pigs. the good thing is that some guinea pigs and rabbits can become best friends and share food togetther and more.

they can get along fine but you'll have to watch that the rabbit doesn't get upset and thump one of them with it's foot. it could kill the guinea pig if it does.
