if i have a contract on my house can i turn in the interest on my tax return and how many years can i go back?

i am doing an owner finance and i just got the contract i have been buying for 6 years

This is a little technical - you will probably need to refile for each of the last 5 years and it may not be worth the cost and effort. Consult a tax preparer when you file this year because it is unlikely that you will get a reliable answer on this venue.

This all makes no sense at all. The impression I get from this is the same impression I get from seeing the squashed remains of fresh roadkill.
