OK well first things first u mean the thing tat makes the keyboard up right?
well if u do it depends on how u broke it. if it broke like in half and u see tat the hole is just really f-ed up then ..I'm sorry to say this but your gonna have to tell them. but if u broke it but the hole looks like u can fix it then all u have to do is get the hole into the thing tat moves it back and forth ..or in and out which ever and just glue it and while its glues move it very gently tat way it won't get stuck in Just one position
