Instead of name-calling and mocking why can't we have an intelligent discussion? When is the last time a politician ran an ad that said that anyone that votes for the opposite cannidate is a moron?
Christians especailly should be concious of how we treat others. No atheist converted to Christianity because he/she got sick of being told that he/she is a fool.
Treat others with respect, even when you don't agree.
Does anyone disagree with this approach?

It would be nice if it were a matter of just agreement and disagreement. It is not. It is a battle, make no mistake, for the truth. Are we to respect the superstitions that rule us? Or, are we to live free of such irrationality. Christians are enjoined to convert. This means that friction with those who do not want to be converted will be with us until rationality descends on mankind.

I completely agree with you. Having an intelligent discussion with anyone in this day and age is almost impossible. I never like to discuss religion or politics so unfortunately I will not discuss my thoughts on this matter.

Are you suggesting that Hindus, Jews, Buddhists, Muslims do NOT need to be conscious of how they treat others? That only Christians need to do this? If you are saying that Hindus, etc are naturally kind and polite, but Christians are not (that's why they need to especially careful of how they act), then I agree.
