I only keep shoes for 1 year, boots for 2. Runners as long as they last and are comfy. Some women I know Have 70+ shoes and never throw them out or send to the thrift store. What is up with that.

By out of style, I mean out of my style. And I cleanse shoes and clothes 3 time a year.1 rack for shoes, 1 dresser for clothes, that is all I own. People who own ton and tons of wearables confuse me.

Well, if i don't wear them anymore & they are out of style, i certainly give it away to Goodwill. but if they are still in style but i don't use them, then i make the effort to sell them on Ebay.

I keep my shoes until they start to get old and messed up. I don't think that people should just toss stuff as the style goes away. You barely use them and they are waste of money, if you do it that way. I bought some shoes a while back and they look just like the flats that are sooo popular now. Also, my mom had some shoes that she barely wore a while back and now they are soo in. The styles keep repeating themselves, or they change one tiny thing that you can still pull them off. Plus I just don't have the mone to keep up w/ all the latest styles so I need to make do with what I have.

I do keep my shoes up until I can't use them anymore. We all know there are people who really make use of what they have, and others just save what they have. If my shoes go out of style I don't toss them out. As long as they are in good shape, I will still use them. Money plays an important role too. If people have good money, they buy shoes every now and then, but some people don't have money, so they have to limit themselves to buying only certain pair of shoes. People who have a collection of shoes are just like people who collect stamps, or collect bottle caps, or things like that. So, yeah it would be great if they would give up their shoes to thrift stores, or to needy people, but if they like to collect them, there is nothing that can be done about that. Like I said, I make use of what I have. That is the point of shoes, right, to use them until they are unuseable.

I dress to please myself not anyone else. If I like some thing I am not going to toss it out or get rid of it. I still have clothes that I had when I was a teenager and as long as they fit and look good,I will keep them. By the way I have 50+ on the shoes including boots.

you only keep shoes for a year? wow. i keep shoes for a lot longer than that, even if they are "out of style." But then again, i dont buy shoes that are "in style". I buy shoes that look good and feel good but i stay away from the really trendy ones. Also, i have shoes that i've only wore twice, so theres no way in hell that i'd thrown them out when they are still in perfect condition. thats a waste.

It depends on tha cpndition of the shoes and the brand. Some shoes go out of style then come back in, like tha sandals girls were wearing that were wrap around, those had been out, but they came back in. If you have over 70 pair of shoes you are jus have a fetish for shoes, like me...except all I wear is tennis shoes

I keep my shoes and i don't throw them away just because they are so called "out of style" to me nothing is never out of style as long as you make them look good. Plus they cost money.

i have over 25 pairs of shoes and i don't wear them all the time. i alternate them depending on what i wear and the time of the year it's in. i do donate shoes though to the thrift store so it gives me the opportunity to buy some more shoes.

wean shoes are out of style you should give them to a close friend so they can have them to keep even though they are out of style they still look really cool on you.
