I lived in San Antonio. My son then 6 decided the rain would wash out the frogs and he put on some camouflage and went out frog hunting but not telling me. Meanwhile, I thought he was playing his game on his computer. When I went to check on him, he was gone. In a panic, I looked for him first by foot, then by car. My car was swept away in the roadway by the Salado creek that became a river. Three men pushed me and my car to safety. Then, we went back on foot looking for my son. We found him on high ground near the playground with a jar of frogs. I had to replace my car that died in the flood.

We lived in New Braunfels and were 400 yards or more more from a creek that fed into the Comal river, which fed into the Guadalupe. There was no water seen from our home but within 5 minutes we were in 4 feet of water. It was terrifying! A 100 year flood they called it for the Guadalupe. 3 years later there was another one.

Yes! I knew a shady-lady from India that owned a daycare & the idiot decided to drive a bunch of little kids in a van through a low-lying area. ( They were getting swept away!) She seemed so sweet, but she was just greedy. Moron! The kids were saved though, thank you Jesus!
