Is there anything in the Constitution preventing it?

(I know that the Vice-President breaks the tie when it's 50-50, but it that case the Senator in question could vote again to break the tie, like on the Weakest Link.)

No.

Article 1 Section 6 of the US Constitution states that no Senator shall hold any other civil office upon his election to the Senate. This includes the Vice-Presidency.

If the VP is a Senator, upon election to VP, he must resign from the Senate. No sitting VP would run for senator while serving as VP. That would be silly

No, the person would have to choose between being a Senator or a Vice-President.

No. The Senator in question would have to resign their position and become VP. The governor of his/her state would then appoint someone to replace the former senator.

No- you can't hold two positions at the same time. The Senator spot would be given up.

The Senators represent a specific area of the USA, A veep has to represent all the people, so they cannot be both.
