If I do need one, then what kind do I need and how many GBs does it need to have. PLEASE HELP!!!

you need a memory sick duo. my PSP came with a 32 meg. That will hold alot of saved data (as long as you save over the original file each time) the 32 meg will last a long time because the cames are only about 100-350 KB. so they don't take up that much space and the 32 meg is the cheapest memory sick.

i say get 1 gb just in case. but whatever come with psp not big enough to save good amount of games. can also use stick for pictures, musics, videos, etc.

well yes u need a memory stick and to just save game data and not put any videos or music on it 64mb is good.If u play lots of games u might need a 256mb card

yes you must have one you can pick one up at almost any electronics store or toys r us they come in different memory capacities , if your going to download photos,music etc get a larger one if your only going to save game data get a smaller one .
