how do i make my compaq presario sr1320nx like, "out of the box?"?

i want everything off of the hard drive except the os

The easy answer is to reformat your hard drive and reinstall Windows. Just insert your installation CD in to your CD drive and reboot. With the installation disk in the drive, you should boot from the CD drive. When asked, select format drive. Select which drive you want formatted (i.e. if you have more than 1 hard drive). Afterwards, reinstall Windows.
