which ones better lime wire or imesh? does ne of them cost money?n where can u download them?

Never heard of imesh. I use limewire, but like JP says, it's a potential virus waiting to happen.
Before playing or running anything I scan every track/programme. I use avg anti virus (it's a free download) and it's worked so far. But so many of them come back as having a virus that I would be very wary of downloading anything from limewire without being able to scan it.

ps, my brother is an artist, and a very successful one. He understands people download online for free. This is taken in to account when negotiating deals. There will always be new music because there will always be someone who wants/needs to write it. He sees being on limewire as a good thing, it means he's popular!
We have an unwritten rule between us that we download for free, and if we really like the track then we will buy it. That way the performer should benefit if the music is up to scratch and worth paying for... I even buy my brothers stuff if I think it's worth it, even though I can get it for free!

Soon ur only going to be able download old songs off any pirating music source. Itunes is currently working on fixing this whole pirating music thing and not a lot of people go out and buy the Cd's anymore and soon the CD's will be protected from pirating with a program Itunes is developing.
But for now just use limewire at limewire.com.
Enjoy it while it lasts though.

Lime wire is far is the better system however, don't download any programs or software with it because that area is full of viruses and Trojans.

Ok limewire basic is free and it is really good, if you have virus and spyware protection on your computer not that you are going to get any but it would be a safe thing to do.

I've been advised by a Dell technician and my tech guy at work not to download music from there. It's a virus waiting to happen.

Limewire.... i have had it for years now.... its free and you can download at www.download.com and in the search just put in limewire.
I dont know if ill get anything else to download songs with.. unless limewire starts to charge lol
