His work in the Godfather II is magnificent... this role was perfect for him. Although he's done some comedies lately, I still prefer him in serious movies... Raging Bull was great.

Hands down Heat. De Nero and Pacino (my favorite actor) in a great movie together is a winning combination. I know that they were in Godfather II together as well, but they never were really 'together' in the movie. In Heat they had a lot of good dialog with each other.
