I am asking why men stop showing affection after a certain period of time after being married. I feel like my husband is too confortable.

I've been married to my husband for 32 years and he still babies me. I sprained my ankle Tuesday and he has waited on me hand and foot. We both love each other so much and he also respects me as his companion and mate. So not all husbands are like that.

It could be,but some Man don't show there Feelings,because the are afraid,I was like that,but I changed.Thank God,its not a good thing.It depends how a Person grows up,if you get laughed at because you show your Feelings to many Times,you don't show them no more,it maybe happen to hem.Just talk too hem,some just cant say I love you.If he is a nice Man,he deserve a chance,you seam to be a caring Person,I am sure it will be OK.

Shhhh - this is a secret - but if you bi&tch too much about the little things, then his feelings are dulled or killed entirely. Men are flat out exactly what they say. If they say green then they mean green - not blue green or yellow green or pink green. they say exactly what they mean. There is absolutely no mystery or wishy washiness to us. We just are. And women are flighty, undecided and if they say this, they may actually mean that. Men get tired of the games and if you bi&tch about the little things the TV gets more exciting than you. Shhh secret - men are who and what they say they are - exactly, nothing more nothing less and not interested in pink green ever.

It is possible that after married, wives tend to stay less attractive because of so many things they have to do like houseworks, taking care of the children, taking care of their husbands, etc. So many things to take care of. At the end of the day, what wives forget is to 'taking care of themself, and stay attractive'.
But if the wife is already tried in that area, she might need to look into things like..wether the husband cheated on her.

You have the right to ask him what's wrong and if he doesn't have a good answer then perhaps you should think of finding another husband. If he really loves you then he wouldn't change anything in your relationship.

well you could try to shake him up but it is a fact of life that after marriage men go into a slump and the romantic hunk you thought you married vanishes never to be seen again. some of that is to be expected but now and again do something to shake things up and see what happens.

lay off us. Women marry us then try to change us and when we don"t completly comply we cop the whole insucurity line.
