Help with word problem?

Adam buys $9.05 worth of gasoline for his car. If the gas station charges $1.589 per gallon, how many gallons did he get? (Round to the nearest tenth.)

It would be 5.7 gallons.
I divided 9.05 by 1.589 to get the answer 5.69, next I rounded it to the nearest tenth which was 5.7
