this is an excellent question!
I have to say both.
I look to the past so often-espicially because Im into fashion for my job. But actually, I look to the future too, because I take some of the past and recreate something, with a new modern edge-new fabrics, so...both.
In life, I look to the past to learn from mistakes-I look to the future with hope in my heart.

Well, I've lived 37 years in the past. I can only hope that I have more than 37 years to live in the future.

I live more in the present, look forward to the future without forgetting the past. That's important for me to do.

I think I live in both. When I am sad and thoughtful I usually live in the past. I live in the future when I am feeling hopeful and optimistic which should be almost all the time! I think the movie I watch changes my outlook on life. Does that happen to you?

I live in the present...I can't change the past and clueless about the future, so only have the present to worry about

The past. My past was much more fun than my present. The future hasn't come yet, so how can I live in it?

I live quite a bit with memories of past and yet I find a way to wake up each day and someohow believe that the future holds promise.
