It needs to be re-worded, but it could be past or future.

Past:
What I would do was go shopping for at least five hours (something you used to do).

Future: (conditional)
What I would do would be to go shoppin for at least five hours (something you might do if you had the chance to do so).

The question should be: :What would i do if I was going shopping for at least five hours? It's not a past sentence or future sentence because it's not a sentence.

What I would do is go shopping for at least 5 hours.

That correct sentence is future.

If the sentence was past tense it would have been:

What I would have done is to go shopping for five hours.

What I would do is go shopping for at least 5 hours.
This is conditional, NOT future.

WOULD is conditional.

If you wanted it to be FUTURE, you would write this.
There are several ways you could write it --Below is simple future (will +verb) (am going+ infinitive)

I will shop for at least 5 hours.
I am going to shop for at least 5 hours.

Future continuous [AM / IS / ARE] + [GOING TO] + [VERBing]:
I am going to be shopping till I drop.

Future perfect: [WILL HAVE] + [PAST PARTICIPLE]
By tomorrow morning, I will have shopped all night.

Future Perfect Continuous: WILL HAVE BEEN] + [VERB+ing]
By tomorrow morning, I will have been shopping all night and on through breakfast.

Answer - It is the FUTURE PERFECT.
You set it in the future but are refering to it as if, in the future you were talking about something that had happened in the past.
I'm a retired Englis /media teacher
Past tense -it happened (often has letter d on end)
Future tense- it will happen (often has letters ing on end)
