I can only speak of my experience with t-mobil.

The carrier will offer you a discount on buying a new phone if you agree to extend your contract if it has been 11 months since your last upgrade or purchase of a phone.

However, I have had to replace my cell phone several times due to damage as I work outside sometimes and........
You can buy a "go phone" at Walmart and replace the sim card in the new phone with your own sim card if it is not damaged. I have done it several times. Works great.

Good luck....... also. Wirefly can get you a good deal if you with to add another phone number/second phone to your account.

Yes i believe all companies do the same. I work with Cingular, Sprint and Nextel. And if you want to get a new phone in the middle of the contract you would have to pay full price for the phone. Unless you want to get an upgrade if you had the phone for 1 year. The only thing is that then you would be signing a new contract for 2 more years. Good luck since phones are expensive.

first you should call uscell. and see if you are eligble for an equipment upgrade, if you are than you can get deals on the new fones, if not you have to pay full price for a fone and pay to have it activated, or you can buy used fones and pay to have it activated too. I think it costs $15 to activate it, but us cell just changed their programs and things are a little different now, so I would check with them first.

Yes. You only get a discount when you become elligible.
Technically you could change phones weekly if you want but it would be full price each time.

I suggest getting an unlocked phone off of the internet. This phone will work with any carrier provided that your carrier uses SIM technology. You can usually find anything on amazon.com or ebay.
