Darth Vader's mother's name is Shmi. If we reverse this we have:

Imhs. Could this be an acronym for I am His?

I think it could be.

And let's not forget that Anikan Skywalker (Vader) has no known father... ...virgin birth??? That is the implication here.

The whole story is about redemption, which is what the Christian message holds for the whole human race.

And isn't the force a miracle?

I think its worth considering.

Some of your points are good, but not all of them. You are partially correct however. Lucas is actually a profsor of mythology. So when he made star wars he took parts of variouse cultures and religions world wide and combined them.
Also Endor is in the Bible. It is a mountain In 1 samuel 28 verse 7
I don't know if it was coincidence that or intentional that lucas used it but it is even spelled the same.

1.) IMHS isn't an Acronym for I am His.
The acronym for that would be IAH.

2.) Anikan Skywalker has no known father....virgin birth? Yea, if Jesus grew up to be a planet destroyer named Darth Vader.

3.) The force isn't a miracle, its more like witchcraft, wiccan magic, vodoo, black magic, pratically anything other then miracles. (The darkside had the force as well, so its actually neutral).

4.) The story isn't really about redemption. Its more of a political strife and civil war.

5.) No, not worth considering at all.

Star Wars is an epic that has been infused with many different religion's virtues and cultural values. Master Yoda is believed to be modeled after one of HH the Dalai Lama's Assistant Tutors called Tsezab Serkong Rinpoche.

"....Upon seeing him in Dharamsala, for instance, the makers of the popular film Star Wars decided to use him as the model for Yoda, the spiritual guide of the epic. Rinpoche never saw the movie, but would undoubtedly have been amused at the caricature.... " (http://www.berzinarchives.com/bioghaphies/portrait_serkong_rinpoche.html)
These westerners actually observed the said teacher for 3 months, watching him, studying and learning about his teaching of Buddhist Emptiness Philosophy... or The Force.

2. The Ewoks speak an Ancient type of Tibetan dialect. A coupla year ago I was on a trip to a tibetan refugee camp in India, I met a few child monks and they really delighted me. So I rented a TV and VCR from town and brought it into the Monastery togive these kids a treat by watching the ( then )trilogy. When the Ewoks appeared, the children could understand them AND translate to me what the Ewoks were saying and planning around the trees... I thought they were fibbing me until one of the older monks and kid's caretakers affirmed that the Ewoks WERE speaking an old tibetan dialect but was not speaking grammatically correct... I was majorly surprised!

3. A Skywalker in tibetan buddhism is called a Khandroma or Dakini ( similar to Valkyries of Nordic Legends ) or Daka for their male counter parts. They are believed to be Angels in a sense to the Buddhist seekers of the truth.

4. In fact, Padme Amidalla, the Amygdala is said to be a gland found near the pituary gland in the "3 rd eye area" and Padme ( or Padma ) is Sanskrit word for Lotus, a symbol of liberation to Buddhists, Hindus and Taoists... by the opening of the "3rd Eye" and understanding supreme truth. And Senator Amidalla's Offcial Outfits are fashion from the Royal Robes of Mongolian Queens and Dignitaries.

5. The use of the "Lightsaber" and its Laws are very similar to the Japanese Code of Honor followed by the Samurais and their Katanas... even their fighting style is similar to Kendo.

So i am not surprised either if Christian values and messages were inserted into epic as well.

Yeah, I remember seeing an interview with George Lucas about how Star Wars had some spiritual overtones, mostly having to with the Force.

Did you eat a lot of paint chips as a kid?

The "image" of Jesus appeared in a pancake among other places, do you think you'll be saved if you eat the pancake?

More likely, fictional stories, like Star Wars or the Bible, often feature a "Good versus Evil" story line.

But, who am I to say? God is where you find him. I haven't been able to yet, but you never know.

i could no longer get contained in direction of the 1st verse with out figuring out a some contradictions that afflicted me. Are we to blame for what supposedly happened 2000 years in the past? Wasn't Jesus *destined* to die on the croos for the salvation of mankind, in line with Christianity? So then, why be mad at humanity for doing what became meant to be finished? Did God replace his all-powerful concepts? My head will start to soreness if a study anymore... sorry.
