If you mean, what are the major agricultural products for Illinois, in which Chicago is located, corn and soybeans I believe are the big two. One can't travel through Northern Illinois and miss the cornfields.
Chicago, itself, doesn't grow much of anything.

Chicago is a major metropolitan area. Very Urban. Not much agriculture.

Chicago is an industial city (manufacturing, factories, etc.) not an agricultural city. Illinois, on the other hand, is an agricultural state (corn, soybeans, etc)

I want to say its wheat. I remember doing a map when I was in grade school that showed for each state. I think its wheat. If this is not right, I would like an email.
