Both Canada and The States have been around equally as long. So why is it Canada is only a fraction the size of the States in terms of population?

Because Canada has a lot less inhabitable land than the U.S.

Canada has less tourism attraction than the US. I mean look at them; Las Vegas (Casino Capital), New York City (The Big Apple), Hawaii (Great vacation spot), Florida (DisneyLand), Hollywood... you name it. All we have is the CN tower and Parliament Hill. Plus its pretty cold here, -18 in Churchill and frickin -28 in Resolute. And don't forget BC's huge winter storms this winter.

But in Summer its pretty cool being here, so that might be why we still have 32 million people :P

The US has more places that have been able to be populated. Alot of Canada is mountains, fields and snow. However that means that Canada has alot more places that are still natural.

Because its so freakin cold. And I think ontario is trying to gain Independence(A few years back).
