So in a way this is a rhetorical question. I don't think I will ever get over him. I love him. I care about him. He cares about me. He looked out for me when we were together and something was up. He held my hand when I crossed the creek on a hike. He is such a sweetheart. So how do you get over the nice guy? I smile when I think of all the wonderful moments we had together and cry when I think about how we may never create new wonderful moments. You can lead a heart to love, but you can't make it fall. I fell for him, but he hasn't fallen for me. So perhaps this isn't a question to answer, "How do you get over the nice guy?" Maybe nice guys aren't meant to be gotten over, but instead cherished everyday. I wish the news and shows weren't full of murder, hate, vulgarity, etc. I wish we'd hear more of the good stuff and of how there are still chivalrous guys out there. The world needs more guys like him. I love him and I miss him so much.

it might be a rhetorical question so I won't answer it :-) Why on Earth would you want to erase such fond memories. If you are to be together, you will be, if you have already spent the time together that you will, then treasure the moments and move on. You don't get over it, you file it in the deepest corner of your heart and bring it out when you need to. It's experiences like this that make you into the person that you are to become.

Im so sorry to hear that. He sounds like a great guy. But if the relationship was strong, there wouldnt be hearbreaks. Since the fall of man, we are doomed a sinful nature. Life is full of ups and downs. It was just not meant to be between you two. I know u are devastated and believe there is no other better one. But only the Lord knows the best for us. In three words i can sum up everything, life goes on. Have strength and faith. Your tears and frustration wont bring him back.

Why does it have to end, Are your life's pulling you apart, probably yes. One day your going to find another nice guy and your lives will run in a tangent (together) this is the time to hold on. It happens when your older, out of school in a full time job, this is a time when nice guys when asked will be glad to hang around. Keep your moments happy and cherish them of course.
but it is all in the game of youth.
Your Admiral of a nice guy will enter your life when you turn the page of adolescence.
Sweet dreams and keep the hearth warm, your provider will come into your life when it is most needed, just let God know when your really ready, and He will provide.

Ohh girl, that was beautiful. The way you talk about him and everything. I think I got this from a disney movie but whatever, you need to listen to your heart. If it's telling you to love him than do it. Have you told him the sort of things you wrote up there? But, sadly, if he really wants that to be the end of your relationship you have to respect his feelings. The sort of love you have for this guy is life-changing, it will effect the way you feel about things and your future relationships. In no way is that a bad thing. You will always have the good memories from the past. And eventually, if things don't change, not being with him won't hurt this bad and you will move on in your life.

GIRL, you were not meant to get over him. Every experience in life teaches u something. Honor him and the times you have spent together by allowing this feeling and those times to make u a better person by helping others in need, being a good friend to your family and buddies.
True love changes a person's heart. Maybe this feeling and your love for him was meant to prepare you for your real soulmate who will love you back the same way u loved this guy. You dont need to forget this guy as i believe that one day in heaven we will get to love all the people we love on earth and in heaven that love will be returned:)
good luck:)

OK, I don't get the question. But, it seems to me like you still like the guy, so maybe the best way to get over him is just to accept the fact that it didn't work. You can go for it again, or just let it all out. Write it, draw it, or scream it, anyway that works for you. Pamper yourself for one day and have a night in with my two favorite guys, Ben and Jerry. Have fun!
