I would suggest The Mediator Series and the 1-800-Where-R-You series by Meg Cabot. They are both young adult series. The Mediator books are about a teen who can speak to and touch ghosts and helps them move on to the next life. The 1-800 books are about a teen struck by lightning that develops the ability to find people by just looking at a picture. Both have romantic subplots which become more prominent as the series go on. Also, both of these series are complete so you won't be waiting around to see what happens next.

Beverly Lewis has a series of romances mostly involving young people. It begins with "The Covenant." It is set in Amish country and very sweet and interesting too.

Mary Higgins Clark has a great set of books out...about 50 in all.
My favorite has GOT to be Nora Roberts. She has written about 400 books.
At the hotel I work at, all of us girls trade Nora Roberts books back and forth.
There was 30 of us and we STILL don't all her books among us !!!
