Crayfish are just like fish and require the same guidelines to live a healthy life. A filtered tank with quality water and regular water changes. Air pump will do nothing to add oxygen to the water. Movement only adds dissolved Oxygen to the water.

He may live in your bowl for a while, even with water changes, but he really should be in a tank.

Not a chance. They are big, eat alot, poop alot, and need lots of space. No less than 30 gallons for most species, and it has to be very well covered because they are great at escaping. They do not breathe air so they need excellent filtration aeration. They are capable of "holding their breath" for long amounts of time. Most crusteaceans are.

Filters are suggested but the breath air. I have seen bags of crawfish last days out of the water and they stay alive. But they escape keep the top closed tight.

not for long..they still need oxygen in the water..
