Look, I'll help you out, come on over and I will shave it for you. We can start with a strip, and if you want to do it all, I can shave off the remaining hair...but its up to you. I always find with the ones left natural, that the hair gets caught in my throat. Your boyfriend will likely think the same.

No a woman doesn't have to shave there. It's a matter of personal choice. I sometimes shave down there as well but my dr prefers that I clip the hairs if at all possible. The reason for this is so I don't have to worry about the razor burn or ingrown hair potential.

It depends on you. The pubes are there for a reason - too keep dirt from entering you and preventing infections... But, woman do shave their pubes. However, there are different type of shaving. You can shave just your bikini line. You can shave just around the lips but leave a bush a on top... You can shave everything except right above your lips. You can shave everything... You can even shave patterns. Some people shave and leave a butterfly or heart shape. But its all on personal preferance.

It all depends on the individual. mother nature made us a certain way, people have chose to shave for there own reasons. A obgyn once told me, that the hair down there is protection against germs and bacteria. You still have to wash the area of course. Some females love to keep it shaved for there boyfriends or husbands, but that is a whole different subject. There is no rule that says females are suppose to do this. Its your own decision to do so.

You often shave down there to feel more comfortable? Well, I don't believe there is any reason not to shave your pubes.

First of all, you dont HAVE to shave your pubic hair.

However, as a male, I know that with me, and most other males. We perfer a nicely kept area, doesnt have to be bald(some guys like it and some don't) But nicely trimmed pubic hair is much more inviting when it comes to sex. Most guys dont want to give oral to a girl that doesnt at least trim.

Shaving for the first time will most likely be uncomfortable after a day or so because untill your skin gets used to it you will develop red bumps, and they will itch ALLOT. I'm a guy, and I trim my pubic hair, eventually your skin will get used to being shaved and the bumps and redness will not occur after shaving.

May I recommend a landing strip? I think totaly shaving is so prepubescent, and child molester like- I don't get it!

And I totally agree with Ting! There is a biological reason for the hair to be there- you think God didn't know what he was doing? It is also to prevent cutting and scraping during sex.

I only shave down there when I'm coming on my period, so that the blood doesn't get into it. I don't shave there often though. Some girls think you should but my personal opinion is, a vagina looks ugly bald.

Its really up to you. If you want to shave then shave, but if you dont, then dont. Its probably better not to though because some people get red lumps and it can become really itchy! But if you want to feel free.
