Usually a "false negative" occurs when it is too early for that test to predict pregnancy. If that is the case, it is also probably too early for symptoms. In rare circumstances, some women get negative tests throughout their pregnancy. I would wait and test again in a couple of weeks. If you suspect something is "off" and the test is still negative, contact your doctor to figure out the issue.

Of course it can be wrong. The tests can't always be right. Maybe you did it wrong? I know i had a very light what i thought was a period with my second child and i was pregnent. So i think your best bet would be to go to the Drs and get a better test done. That way there you can be sure whats going on with your body. If you are you want to make sure you get the proper care right from the begining. Good Luck in what ever the the outcome! And yes you can take a test during your cycle if it is a cycle. If your preg you have the hormones in you and they will show up or not...lol

Very possible. All women are different and produce different levels of Hcg, and if your not producing enough (which isn't uncommon) it will read negative. I would say wait...I know its not easy. Im in your position as well. If you had rather, go to the dr. and get a blood test, but those test Hcg as well, and can also have false negatives.
Good Luck!

It happens. Wait a week, take another one. Do it first thing in the morning the very first time you go to the bathroom.
