They weren't the first by any means but the Ramones influenced more bands, including The Sex Pistols, than any other in the punk genre. Just as influential and just as acclaimed these days are The Clash. I love both bands, but my preferences go with The Dead Kennedys and the Descendents.

NOFX the've been around since 1982 probably toured more than any other punk band released heaps of albums and are still going strong having just released an album.

im not sure if they are the best ever in the world but the first and pretty much only band that came to mind was the ramones.

nope provide stiff little hands a pay interest. all the acceptable a million and a couple of. i imagine john lennon became killed on the eighth. and that i do no longer accept as true with calling eco-friendly day punk. they sound the picture of all the different "punk" crap on the radio
