Hijab in America?

Why is there this big deal about the hijab in Europe but there is no debate over it here in the States

Because respect for religion is ingrained. Did you know that some of our Founding Fathers invited people of different faiths to live here?

Also we work so hard, who has time to worry about a piece of cloth?

Because we respect a person's right to follow her religious beliefs.
