Carry On

The fire within, how brightly it shines
Flickering madly, and growing with time

Tribulations come about, building character, depth
May hope abound until your final breath

Walk the path that nobody leaves
Abide in your toil until you’re relieved

With the cross that you bear write your name in the sand
Though your arms grow weary may your soul firmly stand

Your poem's description about your feeling about this subject of moving on is quite powerful, but some of your choice of words makes your poem unbalanced. Overall I'd say you might want to repeat, "carry on" in between your stanzas

"cross that you bear" I'm dead against cliches in poems...so, try harder next time.
