What is a good remedy for non-stop coughing?

I am getting over a cold and I can't stop coughing.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Suck on a cough drop or try gargling with warm salt water about a 1/2 teaspoon to a 8 ouce glass of warm water

you can try honey and lemon, but I usually chug down Robitussin every 4 hours that usually helps by the 3rd day of taking it faithfully.
