I want to start a small ecommerce business and want to use paypal. If customers pay with paypal, will they see my personal information, such as my name and address? with all sorts of crazy people out there, I worry about my personal information getting viewed by people. Does anyone know if I can accept payments without having people see my personal info? Sorry, but I have little experience with paypal! Thanks!

no....paypal is a full on secure site...you wont be able to see the purchasers private details other than shipping address and they can not see yours....

No, they will only see the email address that you give them to pay to. Paypal verifies your personal info and bank accounts before they allow you to become a customer. Its a good service that I have used for about 4 or 5 years. Good luck!

No don't worry. I use paypal and you have the option to either let people see your details or not. You will have to display your name however but if you open the business account you can put your business name instead of your personal name. Relax and good luck with the business.
