Will Wesker be on the next Resident Evil 5 series?

The trailer doesnt have him in it. And is Milla Jovovich's character super powered like Wesker?

In an interview published in Famitsu Xbox, Capcom producer Jun Takeuchi states that RE5 will be an authentic sequel to the series' main plot rather than a side story (as Resident Evil 4 was). Although they are guarding plot details to the point of not revealing who the main character is supposed to be (popular speculation guesses that he is Chris Redfield), given this statement it seems very likely that Wesker will play a major role in RE5.
