can some one break this down in simple steps and not computer language please, thanks!

First, you can find out who's connecting to your Wi-Fi network by looking in the DHCP Client List, which is part of your router's configuration and settings software. Just go to the configuration web page (where you set up encryption and passwords, etc.), and look for the DHCP Client List. You'll see the computer name and MAC address of everyone connected. If something fishy is there, you've got an interloper. Be advised that clever types can get around this rather easily: All you really need to do is use a static IP address instead of a dynamic one and you won't show up on the list. However, most computers use DHCP for simplicity, and any casual hangers-on will certainly be DHCP users.

Don't use WEP, it's not secure. Go into your router setup screen and setup WPA or WPA2 instead. Your manual will show you how. Choose a password that have 6 or more characters long.

ok, all that's going to be a big pain in the ***. Just find out how to set up WEP encryption on ur router. look in the manual, or find the manufacturer's site, and find some instructions on it. It should be easy. What WEP does is basically provide password protection for ur wireless network. WEP passwords can be hacked, but the ppl who can get by it usually don't care about messing with ur system. u can also find programs that will detect wireless leechers (google "air snort"), and if u can get their ip address, u can turn it over to ur internet provider to report abuse. Good luck!
