How many animals become roadkill everyday? either in the usa or in the world.?

I mean in numbers, (IE 5000 ANIMALS BECOME ROAD KILL EVERY DAY)

Not many as there used to be because of more traffic on the road.
Deers seem to be the problem in the winter months.
Buzzards usually devour the small wild animals.
Hillbillies would say roadside kill wuz gud eatingz
