According to http://dreammoods.com ...

To see someone commit suicide in you dream, highlights your concerns for that person. Also consider what characteristics and qualities in that person you may be trying to "kill" and annihilate in your own self. Perhaps you hope that you are not like that person in some way and are making attempts to get rid of those traits within your own self.

To see deformed or odd birds in your dream, indicates that you have a unique outlook and perspective on romance and love. The dream may also represent a lack of understanding in affairs of the heart.

To see a building in your dream, represents the self and the body. How high you are in the building indicates a rising level of understanding or awareness. If you are in the lower levels of the building, then it refers to more primal attitudes and/or sexuality.

(I couldn't find anything on "war" so I used "Battle" instead...)

To be in or see a battle in your dream, suggests that you are overworked. You need to give yourself a break. There is a conflict between your rational thinking and your irrational impulses. Alternatively, it represents eroticism. You may be overly stimulated or you are trying to suppress your instinctual urges.

Are any of these things relevant to your life currently? Dunno if you can put all those things together, but remember; they're just dreams. Shouldn't be worried about those things (Unless they're keeping you up every night...)

Dreams can be influenced by so very many things. Did you watch something in a movie or on TV similar? Was there a TV on, music, or a radio while you slept? Did you read something or have a discussion that could have influenced your subconscience? Are you concerned about the mental well being of your friend?

I have also read that having pain in a deam may indicate a concern you have for your health or even an actual health problem you are having.

If this is a recurring dream and not just a single nightmare it is important that you document as much of it as you can upon waking. If it is not just confusing to you but deeply troubles you use your notes and talk with a professional counselor.

Hello.
Is this a recurring dream? If it is, there could be a pattern you are repeating, and your dream is trying to convey that so you may make changes. I don't know if I can help explain or interpret the dream but I strongly suggest to check out these sites for help:

I hope this helps. The best person to interpret the dream is yourself while still in the sleep state, says Edgar Cayce. When you awake, try not to move your body, just slowly open your eyes to have a better recollection. Try to connect it with you day life; your relationships, emotions/feelings within such as positive or negative towards others, your actions and so on.
Good luck. Take care.
P.S. also note that dreams are windows to enlightenment.
