San Diego is a great place to live and has gorgeous beaches....Real estate is high...Weather, you cant beat it stays about 75 all year round, never snows..Your 30 min from the snow, in the mountains, near beaches, 30 min from the desert. Good jobs. Nice people....lots of restaraunts, hotels. Bad side...Earthquakes..You just never know..We cashed out from San diego and moved to Texas..Lived there all my life..Sometimes I wonder why I left..Tampa, you dont want to go there..Real bad weather..Hurricanes...South Carolina the same...If you can afford San diego, go for it.

I would recommend SC, but not necessarily Hilton Head. If global warming continues to worsen, much of Florida will be underwater, as well as many coastal cities.

I think you should move to California, like a little south of Northern California, it's very nice there and I love to vacation there!! I'm pretty sure it never snows but I might be wrong.

If you move to california, you will have to deal with the cost of living, the earthquacks, and the natives. Ifyou move to Florida you will have to deal with the hurricanes, the bugs and the illegals there. Alabama or Mississippi have pretty beaches. Happy hunting.
