installing updates 1 of 10 dont tur off computer it all turn off by itself. So I let it run and it takes so long. I left it on over night and in the morning it was still running. Is their something wrong with my computer?

no, the files that it is trying to install are from the microsoft update service. go into control panel, security center and change the settings so window tells you when there are files to update and then you can decide if you want t hem or not

do u know what program is installing updates? you can turn off automatic updates for most programs that use them.

set a restore point if you have xp, then restart your computer. then run auto updates.
