Lots of songs on the Metallica Black album have great intros: Enter Sandman, Sad but True, The Unforgiven, Wherever I May Roam.... to name a few.

Immigrant Song by Led Zeppelin
The Intro is this dude screaming and the drums. It's pretty sweet.

Very nice question, there are many songs that have very nice intros, but I will have to pick "Famous Last Words" by My Chemical Romance, I just LOVE the beginning.

I love the intro to "Everything in it's Right Place" by Radiohead.
It sets off the entire mood and essence of their album "Kid A."
Quite magnificent.

Memorable - Smoke on the Water (Deep Purple)
Complex - In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida (Iron Butterfly)
Impressive - Bat out of Hell (Meatloaf)
Awesome - Fuel (Metallica)
IMHO
I'm sure later, I'll think of others I like better, though. Those are just off the top of my head.
