You know on when you search for things on the internet well a the mo mine is storing everything that I search for so if I start to write the word "Answers" and I've alreadt searched for it then the word appears in a box below with all the other words that I've previously search for beginning with an 'A'. Does anyone know how I set my computer so that it doesn't store everything that I search for? I don't search for dodgy stuff btw I just find it annoying!
Thanks

go to tools in ie, internet options, content, in there you will see personal infomation, then untick auto complete.clear forms and anyhting else you need to do aswell.
Its the auto complete you need to fix, deleting history temp files ect wil not stop it from happening. so make sure where you see the 3 boxes that they are all unticked,

Within your browser click on "Tools" then "Internet Options", on the popup window go to "Content" tab along the top. Click on the "Autocomplete" button near the bottom, take the ticks out of all the boxes and then click on "Clear Forms" and "Clear Passwords". You are all set.

click on tools go to the bottom and click on Internet options, when that opens click on the content tab half way along at the top, then near the bottom, second one up, select Auto Complete, there you can delete the content saved on your computer and you can check or un-check what you want your computer to remember when you are browsing,
need more help get in touch ok! good luck
