Excellent films....I couldn't come up with a list of 10 myself. There's so many films I like for one reason or another. (Be it cast members, directors, story-line/adaptation, music, sub-genre, cinematography, philosophy, etc..). But, I'm not 15. (wish I was, sometimes. other times I wouldn't want to have to do it all again)

Glad to see people your age appreciating good film.

Just wondering from your question...are you an Academy Awards nut like I am? My best friend & I...for 11 years...have taken the list of Oscar Nominees and seen ALL the movies in the 10 major categories. Sometimes we've seen up to five in a day. Several times we've traveled out of state. We live on the MS Gulf Coast, and one time we drove to Atlanta just to see a movie that wasn't showing here. It makes watching the Oscars much more fun. I like your Top 10...there's a nice mix there. I'd add "The Green Mile", "The Shawshank Redemption" and "Forrest Gump". Have a nice weekend! Gina

Seems like a very good 10; i cant see, though, why you dont have Schindler's List, the Godfather, the Great Escape, From Here to Eternity or All the President's Men on there.

Ten is just too small a list to accomplish anything. There are too many great ones that will be left out. I think you could delete Fight Club and not get much argument, but that's just one man's opinion.

Very accomplished list.I would have put in Ben Hur, (William Wyler,1959) in the top 3. But I am glad to see you didn't place Titanic on your list.
