Well... be that I am a daughter and not a son (and not a mother yet) there is only one song I can think of. I'm not sure how young/old your son is but there is a new country song by Sara Evans called "Always Be My Baby." It's a great song that talks about love and understanding and always being there for her son. Give it a listen.
