Go to Bath & Body Works and buy her a really good smelling set of bubble bath, shampoo, etc. And a gift card lol. Give her a card saying "Just for being a Good Friend to Me"

as a friend, you can tell your friend about it.
it may sound crude to ask, but its only because you care...
--does your friend wear the same clothes or underclothes?
--does he/she bathe every day?
--does your friend sleep in a bed that has the same pillowcase and bedsheets for the last 3 months?
suggestions of colgne or perfumes doesnt hide or cover the bottom truth of personal hygeine which is the root of it all.

You should buy her some nice smelling shower gel and tell her it is amazing and she should try it.
And then casually tell her that her body odor is noticeable but reassure her that it is not embarrassing and it happens to the best of us. =)
