This is in the Union Square area. It's not fancy and in the theatre district but I would recommend it if you are looking for a reasonable place to stay. It's cheap accommodations on a piece of property worth millions because of the downtown location. Suggest, call them if you have questions.. I wouldn't think there would be age restrictions.
I worked a block away and would see many young travelers come in and out. Mostly European - some Americans from my observation few years ago..
Once you are here, then you can look around for permanent housing if you are planning to relocate to San Francisco.

there is not any such element as a cheap motel in San Francisco and please do not stay interior the Tenderloin it really is infested, dirty with druggies prostitutes, and winos. try staying outdoors the city in South city or Burlingame in effortless words 10 minutes away an ordinary rigidity into the city proper close to the airport. more affordable motels and also you gained't ought to pay for parking.

There are some good directories available for San Fran.
Try this one to sort by star rating , price, location and last minute or year round. The last minute ones often have free extras.
Good luck with your travels.

Check out priceline.com. You can not only find cheap but nice. Better prices obviously in off-season and on short notice.
