not bad. your areas that are weak are catcher, 2b, and closer. ur outfield is OK. this is exactly why i wouldnt take ryan howard or even pujols in the 1st round. u should always take utley. he is the only real good second baseman. there is literally nobody after him, which is why ur stuck with giles. there are plently of good first basemen, like d. lee, konerko, berkman, texiera, laroche... ur starters are strong but ur reserve pitchers are just bad. 7/10 honestly, because ur outfield is only OK, ur second base and catcher are terrible, and u have no worthy closers.

You should've went for bats with at least one of those picks you went pitching on early. I'm not a big fan of Crede or Giles, get rid of Bonds like he is a hot Potato. Your starting pitcher looks good. If you are playing in a H2H league I would say at this point just to punt saves and see what you can get for those closers that you are holding (outfield would be best).

pray kaz stays healthy, dump benitez or torres for whoever wins the red sox closer spot, trade lackey and tankersley for a good starter and weak reliever, then dump the reliever to fill in any gaps that you don't like. right now you are no better than 4th place material.

C, 2B, OF, and RP is a concern so i would give you a 5. this team doesn't look like it will win right now. you going to need to make some trades or have some big pickups to win.

To be honest i would rate it a 6.5....I love your first basemen and your pitching is ok. your outfield is going to need an extra player because I think that Bonds is going to have a bad season.
