It's not like we shouldn't be afraid, some are very dangerous. But your right, people should give snakes a chance. People should also learn what snakes are dangerous and which ones aren't so that they won't be as afraid. I personally love snakes (lizards too!)

I love snakes. Overall, they are deadly. Though, there are some small non-poisonous snakes out there, and they're really cute. And, no, they're not naturally nasty, in fact, they only do it for protection from us humans.
Honestly, give the poor things a chance. They're only doing it to be protected.

snakes are the one the one creature that god makes those who are evil be like to crawl on there bellies. snakes are as Satan . all snakes must die.
a wonderful Saint called Saint Patrick drove all the evil snakes from ireland. blessed ireland such a nice place.
now you should drive the evil from your life.

I don't keep any snakes, but I spend all of my free time photographing them. In fact I have a photo bucket that has nothing but snakes in it.

i love snakes. they are terrific creatures. my boyfriend dont like them because he is afraid he will get bit. But technically if your gonna be afraid of that then i am surprised he isnt afraid of our nippy puppy. lol. he dont think they are slimy just diffrent, but i have been working on changing his mind, his dad is also afraid, and usually most fears are learned from parents, so maybe thats why.

i actually think they're kinda cool. never had one, but someone who used to work for my parents loved reptiles, and she let us hold her snake one time. it was weird, but very cool. im scared of the venomous ones, but i don't hate snakes.

I've many times wondered about this myself. i think some has to do w/ancestry & folklore exceeded down. I'm no longer black yet can't stand snakes. Nonvenomous, i can in many situations deliver at the same time the nerve to get a million n something & moved from the realm. Venomous: i can artwork up the nerve to kill, w/something lengthy, if I don't have quick get admission to to a gun. (It's uncommon 2b a lengthy way from a gun in this section, w/rattlesnakes, coyotes, straying wild packs of canines, & wild hogs ever primary.) i imagine too, there's prolly no longer anymore blacks frightened of em than different races. Blacks, besides the undeniable fact that, are, from whatI've considered, in many situations extra hyper/excited/alarmed by issues than others, so we note it extra among the blacks. @ Beefcake & Vegito. I don't trust the op reported All blacks,yet somewhat, all blacks the op had spoken to. fairly a distinction there.
