There are four things this can be:
~ synchronized swimming
~ water ballet
~ water aerobics
~ crazy old ladies!

Synchronized swimming is what you're talking about, but it's a very challenging sport, not a hobby, and the people you see doing it are super-in-shape young people.
In movies from the 50s, they have scenes with this, and it's less challenging; I think back then they called it "water ballet."

My nanny does something like that.She calls it Aerobics.she does them every day!...I might start it looks like fun!!! ^-^...and old ladys arn't the only ones who do Aerobics!!!!
