Too much & the reason I say this is because I knew these 2 people that were homeless & they milked the heck out of me & my family but never took advice & never tried to work or help themselves. They were Users with a capital U.They were quite the scamming duo.Now I dont listen to the Wha-wha's anymore. Its time to grow up & do for yourself as everyone has to.

A couple of dollars.....I don't usually have much money on me. I also have offered to buy a homeless person a meal (but he turned me down, he wanted the money instead!)

If a women's shelter counts as well as the homeless food bank, then I've given many, many used clothes, baby items, food and money.

I never give any. I travel all over and see all kinds. There is a girl
in Barstow Cal, called Barstow Betty. She always wants cash for Taco Bell. If you don't give her money, she gets mad.

Then she's there the next day.."Squse me sir...can I have money for Taco bell??".

As cold hearted as is sounds, IF you give money, the majority of them know that your going to give again. They'll never leave you alone.

Yes, before any of you get all mad at me and blah blah, I said MOST.

I know there are people who are down on their luck and really need help. I believe there are good social programs out there right now to help people get back on their feet.

That help comes from my taxes.

SO, what's the most money I have given to a homeless person?

This year it was wherever the percentage social services gets form my $23000 dollar tax bill.

You want to feed the homeless? how about we cut all those "Perks" our politicians get.

I MEAN all of them! All parties.

I contract for the military and you would not believe the waste.

Don't get mad at me for not giving, get mad at the Govt for wasting.

AGAIN, ALL PARTIES.

Now collapsing my soap box for later use.

Two hundred dollars. I think she was a runaway. But she was really cute for a little girl. I bought her a bus ticket to New York and gave her 2 bills. Said she came down to DC with some guy that abandoned her, and she wanted to do was get back to NY.
