Wow. About a week before I even missed my period, I was already nauseous and moody with tender nipples. Some people think you can't get symptoms before your missed period, but if you're very in tune with your body, or if you have very strong hormones, you may experience symptoms within a week of conceiving!

They say most women don't realize they are pregnant until after the missed period, but I got a little queasy after eating pizza one time before I found out. Coincidence? No one else felt sick though. But really after that the rest of the symptoms didn't show up until a little later.

I fixed myself a glass of orange juice before bed one evening and that was the best tasting OJ i had ever tasted... it was like wanting something sooo bad and not knowing what it was and then finally getting it... After we found out i was pregnant my husband and i realized thats what it was... I have wanted OJ through out my whole pregnancy...

Painfully tender breasts was the earliest symptom. I am talking excruciatingly tender, like bumping my nipples on something had me gasping and brought tears to my eyes. 'Way, 'way, 'way more tender than at any time during any menstrual cycle I'd ever had. Tender to the point where I was panicky (until I realized what was going on).

With all three of my kids my earliest and strongest symptom was my sense of smell. I could smell EVERYTHING - and the minute I got a good whiff of garlic or something similar it was over!
