If you are having trouble in math go to A+ Math. There are all kinds of games and work sheets to help you study. Call your grandmother and ask her for help. That's what my grandson does. 8 )

hey hannah! the first thing i would ask yourself is why do you think you are having trouble and do you think that you could be doing something differently?
i have been a teacher for 4 plus years now and i can tell you that the best thing you can do is to ask questions when you are having trouble. if your teacher tells you something that does not make sense ask them to explain it in a different way. also, find someone in class that you can work with during class or call on the phone if you need help; sometimes having someone your own age explaining something can make all the difference.
you can find many sources to help you in math on the internet--or if you are having difficulty in basic math (multiplication, division) Math Blaster is a fun, educational game or Where in the World is Carmen San Diego? for reading comprehension.
lastly, if you try asking questions and partnering up with someone and your grades do not improve, tell your parents or guardian that you need help. they may be able to find a tutor or sit down and help you--you never know unless you ask, right?
be nice to yourself! many times our math standards are not realistic. the stuff you are learning today is not what your parents were learning 10 or 20 years ago--your math is much more difficult! you may not get some things now, but i guarantee that if you do not quit you will.
the same things that work for math, asking questions and getting help from family and friends, works for other subjects as well.
be patient and honest with yourself and the rest will fall into place.
take care and the best to you in your education.

All you have to do is pay more attention in class and study harder. I used to be bad in math in the fourth grade and i hated it. But now, i am in the 8th grade and i ihave Geometry. I'm a year ahead in my learning. But I still hate math though. So hang in there and focus more in school. :D

Use a different study method for each subject. For example, use M&M's to set up a math problem. Or if you're having trouble in a subject like science, find something that interests you about the topic you're learning and expand on it. If that doesn't help, find someone to tutor you on the subject. And remember, teachers and books are there to help you!
(I actually like math...)

*laughs* I got terrible grades in 4th grade too! (am a 7th grader) It leads to this question: Are you paying attention in class? Since you're still young and lively, you should be able to soak in the information right away. Just be patient. It wouldn't hurt to do a little studying either. Anyways, good luck! :)

Study harder, math is not my thing either, i just do not find it interesting. You just need to find a way that makes it interesting to you.
