i truely don't know what is wrong with me. i'm curently going through a lot of tests. i'm having a lot of abdominal pain, breast pain, and havent had a period since november. i've been to my doctors they cant find whats wrong. i'm not pregnant and havent miscarried. i have more tests in the morning. know one seems to know whats goin on with my body. i'm worried and have frequent pain but have no idea what is causing it. it seems doctors cant pin point my problem either. all my symtoms are classic pregnacy signs but after tests and altrasounds nothing has shown up. i have mild headachs a lot which isn't normal for me. abdominal cramping, my breasts hurt horrible, general fatigue, and of course my lack of a period. i'm just wondering if anyone can think of any other problem this could be so can can get tested and either rule it out or get treated. i'm truely at a lose here and just want some reliefe. suggestions would be great. thanks.

I have had this problem in the past. Have the doctors given you a hormone to start your period? (progesterone) This will help get your period started and then a birth control to regulate them monthly. My body was all outta whack for the longest time, I didn't have a period for months, I was tested for EVERYTHING, pregnancy, cancer, you name it. They could not find anything. Then I saw this Dr. that told me when you don't have a period it messes up you body and creates alot of problems. Ever since I have been taking the birth control, they are back to normal, my headaches and cramps are gone and I feel back to normal. I hope this helps you a little. For the pain ask your Dr for prescription strength Ibuprofen, it worked wonders for me!

One thing very few dr's ever check for...lupus! It can cause all of the probs you describe.

I went thru the same for many years w/o a dx. On average it takes 20 years to get a dx for lupus or MS.

Ask your dr for an ANA test, if it is positive then ask for an anti double stranded DNA test, be sure to get a copy of ALL the lab work the dr's are doing right now & keep in a safe place.

It is your RIGHT to have a copy of these test results and don't let the dr tell you any different! You may have to cite the Freedom of Information Act but it is all listed on the web if you need it. {also, the dr can only charge you the ACTUAL COST TO MAKE THE COPY, that's federal law!}

Did the Dr. check your thyroid? or do any lab work? it sounds like a hormone imbalance. It's so frustrating and you can't help from worry when something like this happen, maybe the Dr's will figure it out soon or else go somewhere else take your previous test results with you and get a second opinion. Good luck to ya.

My best friend had this too... it could POSSIBLY be one of two things...a hormonal imbalance which is causing your body to think it is pregnant or a small tumor in your brain(pituitary gland i believe) which causes hormones to become imbalanced..MRI or CT scan would solve that mystery....hope everything works out for you and you start feeling better soon
