I am pregnant, and due on April 5, 2007. My husband and I are taking the family to the Bahamas in Summer 2008, and are going to Atlantis. The baby will be about 15 months when we go, do you think that is too young? If we decide it is, we'll leave her with my parents. But do you think it's too young, or she'll be okay? Please help! Thanks!

Take a second honeymoon and leave the baby with your parents. My husband didn't leave our twins and daughter for years and really regret it....The last 3 years we've started going away by ourselves....for 1 full week. Yes, we call every day and miss them....but it brings us closer together and we wouldn't give it up!!

Enjoy yourselves-you will need it! And the baby should bond with her grandparents so you can leave the baby with her and she won't feel like a stranger in their home.

Yes that would be a little too young, because you would constantly have to keep an eye on the baby, and if you have other kids, then they might want you and your husband to go swimming with them and stuff. I think it would be best to leave the child with a granparent or something. Plus it's not really best to put a 15 month baby on the plane, idk why, but that's just what I heard.

Your baby will be OK - the question is if you will enjoy the holiday better with or without your loved one. Maybe some R and R is needed ... look after yourselves with a good break. Here's some links on facilities in the Bahamas - i hope it helps

"Too young" depends largely on the child. Some children are just fine to travel with while others don't travel well. You will know by the end of a year so or. It is really too early to make this decision now.
